Isn't this a fun ribbon rosette?

We used this technique to make a ribbon rosette on one of the make and takes at convention this year, and I just love it. Isn't the glitter on the edge of the ribbon just the bomb? So, there wasn't much stamping on this card, in fact, just the sentiment. What a quick card to make. The card base is riding hood red with bella rose dp on top and that was run through the cuttlebug and sanded a bit. The rosette is so easy, you just run a thread of glue on the edge of the ribbon and add glitter. How easy is that? Then gather the other edge and form it into a rosette. The center is a rub on and then a rhinestone brad. The sentiment is from the All Holidays set and then the cs cut like a banner.

What a great idea to put a rosette on a card. I used to make tons of them when I had my bridal business. It never occured to me to put one on a card. Very clever my friend. I love the glitter on the edge, it really sets it off! And of course, you know I love the cuttlebug embossing :-) Nicely done!
