Candle Boat

I put up a shelf in my entry today and I needed a candle there. Well, what's a girl to do if the candle just doesn't go? You make a candle boat for it!

I inked the leaf image with Marigold Morning and then rock n rolled in Cranberry Crisp. I stamped them onto the vellum card stock and embossed with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is stamped with chocolate chip craft ink and clear embossed. I cuttlebugged the side panels and punched through with the crop a dile and tied with ribbons. What do you think?

Cute, I love those candle holders. You really dressed that one up. We picked the same background for our blog too, don't ya love it?

Way to go Karen. Good job solving the decor problem. So you put up a new shelf in the entry! I'm sure it looks great there. I'm so happy I know what your entry looks like. I can picture just where you put your shelf. :-)

Very very cool - I use old jam jars for vases (it's not often I need them though) and use a 'wrap' of nice paper - but this idea is soooo much better!
