Mark’s Finest Papers

Who knew I would love this fairy image so much? I was surprised that I had such a great time coloring it. I stamped the image onto white cs using Rich Cocoa Distress Ink and then colored it with Copic Markers. I then cut/embossed it using Spellbinders Labels Thirteen die, and airbrushed the edges before removing from the die. I then added AtYou sparkle pen to the outside embossed edge. I added stickles to the fairy wings (they have to sparkle, don't they?) and to the grass as well. I decided the butterfly wing needed a little oomph, so I stamped it again onto vellum cardstock and colored it with the purple Copic. I left a tiny little tab on it, slit the main image and tucked that tab in to attach to the image. Here is a close up of that detail:

The sentiment is stamped onto the vellum cs. The bow is Toffee Satin Edge Ribbon and I used a button from my stash for the middle of the bow. I then heated the ribbon with my heat tool. I cut/embossed four of the center pieces from the Spellbinders Fleur de Lis Pendant dies from white cs then sponged them with the Vintage Photo ink and attached them to the back of the main image. The card is a 6" square of Basic Grey Indian Summer designer paper backed with Copper sparkle finish cardstock.

Loving the sparkle and shine on the fairy. She looks very pretty. The background paper works perfectly with the colours you used and the pretty sheer bow is such a nice accent.
Thanks for sharing! :)
