April Release Blog Hop!

Welcome to my post for the Rubbernecker April Blog Hop.

I've used two of the new releases on my card: Victorian Damask Background SKU-498 and Sisters SKU-002 from the new vintage line.

I inked the stamp with one of the new Ranger Distress Inks - Victorian Velvet and oooh is it pretty! I added a bit more of that ink around the edges with an ink blender. That is mounted onto a white mat cut/embossed with Spellbinders Fair Isle Pendant which was also lighlty inked with the ink blending tool. The background of the light pink cardstock is stamped with the Victorian Damask background stamp and again I added more ink around the edges. The word Friend is from the Fall Trilogy Set and punched out and popped up on the Spellbinders Fancy Tags shape. I added three KaiserScrapbook rhinestones. On the right edge, the border is white cardstock cut/embossed with Spellbinders Fair Isle border. The ribbon wove beautifully through the holes and really showcases the whole image, don't you think?

I hope you like the results. Now be sure to leave a comment and visit all the other designer's blogs and leave comments so you will be eligible to win some of the new release stamps!
