Here are two cards I created using this new set: Big BoyToys! I love this set with such great images for those masculine cards we have such a hard time creating. Also included is a great big rig image and lots of wonderful sentiments to go with them.

For this one, I stamped the image using Rich Cocoa memento ink onto white and then colored with Copic markers before cutting/embossing using Spellbinders Deckle Rectangles. I mounted it onto a light blue mat with the corners punched. That is popped up onto a brown strip and then onto a dp layer which are both embossed with Sizzix Woodgrain folder. I added the clip with the sentiment and then a bit of baker’s twine (also from MFP) knotted onto the clip. No bows – it is for men after all.

Now, if you don’t like to color you can still create a fabulous card like this. I stamped the same image using Black memento ink onto a caramel colored card stock and sponging the edges with Vintage Photo distress ink before mounting onto the red cardstock. The black panel behind the truck is embossed with Cuttlebug diamond folder. Under that is a bit of designer paper mounted onto the red card front. The sentiment panel is created by stamping the tread mark with Vintage Photo ink, stamped off once and then the sentiment added using black ink, mounting onto black and then cutting the ends. I added black brads and popped it up.

So you see, you can create great manly cards coloring or not. Easy Peasy!

Showing a colored and a non-colored card side-by-side was inspired! Shows how truly versatile this set is. Awesome!
