WEDNESDAY, March 9, 2011-African Veldt

Here are two cards I created with the set. The giraffe card is more of the traditional way to use these stamps with the more real colors. The pink elephant just makes me giggle. As a child my Dad would tell me to look at the pink elephants on the ceiling and then tickle me under my chin. hee hee hee So, you see, you can use this set in a more unconventional way as well as with the wild animal theme.

I'm sure my daughter would prefer the second card (pink and gray is a favorite color combo of hers), but I'm lovin' that first one. I love the way it looks like the giraffe is poking his head through the hole.

I love the embossed backgrounds you used on your great cards! The colours are so different and unexpected and the giraffe head coming through the hole is so clever!

I LOVE how you have the giraffe's neck sticking out of the circle - so eye-catching! Both cards are terrific. I love elephants so this set is at the top of my wishlist.
