Ooops, I didn't post the sail boat card yesterday, so I will add two today using different stamp sets. I used the same color scheme on both, so they go together well enough. Red, white and blue is such a great color combo and looks so fresh and cool for summer. It's certainly summer here in Phoenix - triple digits already! June is usually the hottest month, so I guess it is understandable.
This card features the set Island Life. I think this image is perfect for masculine cards, which can be challenging to create. I stamped the sail boat image using Chipped Sapphire distress ink onto the white card. I then added the sentiment using red ink. I added a textured panel (embossed) created with red and blue and a bit of knotted twine as an embellishment. The entire card is mounted onto a blue rectangle.
Manly yes, but I like it too.
This one features the set Welcome Poppies. I created a frame by stamping the poppy in red and then cutt/embossing the frame using two sizes of Spellbinders Labels Four dies. I attached that to the blue gingham card front. I then added an organdy ribbon and bow treatment to the upper left corner with a red dew drop to the center of the bow.
I hope you like these cards and the stamp sets! I'm lovin' them.
Thanks for stopping by!

I will stop complaining about double digits then. :) Your sailboat card is superb. You can almost feel the nice cool breeze from the water.
Beautiful job on both your cards. :)
