And…LOOK for a NEW LINK LIST TOMORROW!!!

I stamped the beautiful floral heart using versamark ink on white cardstock and embossed with white ep. This was cut/embossed using Spellbinders Labels Ten. I colored in the image with copic markers and airbrushed the edges leaving the die in place to leave the white edge. I then used my marker to carefully edge the panel. This is popped up onto a piece of designer paper (unknown). The back pink panel was randomly stamped with three of the other stamps from the set using a deeper red ink. The corners were punched with the Martha Stewart Swirling Lace punch. The card is Rose Red cardstock. I added a bow of organdy ribbon (also avialable from MFP) which was heated with my heat gun to give it more texture, and a glitter brad added to the center.

For your chance to win BLOG CANDY, (a set that will be released NEXT month), visit and comment on each of the following design team members' blogs TODAY. Using the set Bells On Bobtail, I created these tags by stamping the jingle bells (oh, I love jingle bells!) using Versamark ink then coloring in with Copic markers. I sprayed gold glimmer mist over the entire tag and then added the sentiment stamped in red.

The Brick Wall set is really fun and versatile. For this card, I stamped the brick wall image onto a brick colored card stock then distressed the edges of the panel with a distressing tool and sponging of inks. I then stamped the vine image using versamark ink and embossing with white embossing powder. I colored the embossed vine with pastels, then went back and colored the flowers with purple Smooch and a little gold smooch in the cneters. The butterflies were stamped onto a smoosh created piece of cardstock and embossed with black before cutting out and adding a little more gold smooch. The brick image is mounted onto brown. The butterflies on the brick wall are popped up. I created the purple mat by stamping the vine image with versamark and embossing with clear embossing powder. All that is mounted onto the green card which is an uneven gate fold. I added the luscious purple bow to highlight the brick panel. The cardstock, stamps, ribbon and smooch are all available at Mark's Finest Papers. Go check it out!

9/9 THURSDAY Stinky Situation

I hope you don't think my card STINKS!!!! LOL

I stamped these wonderful trees from this fun set using black ink and stamping onto white cs. I used Copic markers to color the sky between the trees. Next I inked up the tree - yes the tree - from the set Regal and Proud which was released last month using one shade of green ink and then thumping with two more shades of green markers before stamping (three times) onto the bottom of the tree panel to give the look of bushes. Isn't that great? I love thinking of other ways to use my stamps. Next I cut/embossed that panel using the oval Spellbinders die. I cut the next smaller shape into the green cs square and aligned it with the opening and leaving a 1/16" edge of green around the panel. I cut the black cardstock to size and positioned my oval opening panel in place, adhering with a removable adhesive on one edge, then slipping the oval I had cut from the tree panel below it and adhering to the black panel. Next I popped the panel with the opening into place using foam squares to pop it up. Next I stamped the three skunks and cut them out. Can you see all three? One is tucked back onto the back tree panel with just a little of him showing in the oval. The other two are popped up and their tails curled a little for a bit more dimension. The sentiment is stamped with black onto the white cs and punched out and then added to a black punched oval to make it stand out. This was all mounted onto a white card and the inside stamped with the small skunk on the bottom right and the bigger skunk was stamped and cut out and added to the top left corner of the inside with a little foam square below the tail toadd more dimension. I left plenty of space for an apology. Sometimes you just need to tell someone that you stink and you are sorry! Or is that just me? lol

So there you go! Now go visit these great designer's blogs for more inspiration:

Babies, babies everywhere!

Wow, everywhere I turn there are new babies! I created this card for a niece that just adopted a sweet new baby boy. It is also combining two SCS challenges: one to honor Cathleen (ctorina) and the other to create a frame on your card.

I stamped the Rubbernecker image onto vanilla cardstock using Vintage Photo distress ink and then coloring with Copic markers - B21, E11, and E15. This was cut with Spellbinders circle nestabilities. The round frame was created by using two sizes of the nesties together. I colored it with my Copic marker to get it to match just right. The card base is vanilla, but I colored a border around the edge with my blue marker and then added a stripe of the dark suntan. The plaid paper is created with the markers as well. I colored the word JOY on a sentiment stamp with a marker, so I would only get that word and stamped it. That panel is embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The mat for that is cut with Spellbinders scalloped rectangle and then colored iwth the marker to match. I added a button tied with embroidery floss as the finishing touch.

Thanks for stopping by! Come back soon!

Here is the first card I would like to share with you today.

I stamped the image of the flower using Rich Cocoa Memento ink and then applied detail clear embossing powder and heat embossed it. I then cut/embossed it using Spellbinders Classic Oval die and airbrushed it before removing it from the die. The oval is popped up with foam squares and mounted onto the designer paper wihc was cut/embossed using Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals die. The yellow card front is stamped with the same shade of yellow ink using the same flower stamp. It is a very subtle background, but oh so nice. The bottom of the card is cut/embossed using Spellbinders Lattice die, then I cut a small piece of the designer paper and adhered it over the bottom of the border, and covered the seam with brown ribbon.

The sentiment (from Rubbernecker's petite word set) is stamped with Rich Cocoa Memento ink and cut/embossed with Spellbinders Labels Eleven and airbrushed before removing from the die. I added a little rhinestone and popped it up with another foam square.

Here is one more!

For this one I stamped the floral image onto the yellow panel three times using pink ink to match the designer paper. I used that as a mat for the Rubbernecker sentiment. I added a bit of Stickles on the edges of the wings of the butterfly to add some sparkle.

Now go to Rubbernecker and buy some stamps. The stamp prices have recently be lowered including all these new releases! Lower prices = more fun!

Thanks for stopping by! I sure appreciate your visits and comments. Please come back soon!

Good luck! I hope you win a prize!

For today's first ever Queen For The Day challenge on SCS, I cased Mutnik's card here chick, chick! My rooster is a bit bigger, so I had to change a few things. I didn't use newspaper for the bg as I don't have any around, so I used a Rubbernecker French Script bg stamp, stamped with tea dye distres ink, distressed and smudged with more tea dye and vintage photo distress inks. I stamped the rooster with the vintage photo ink and clear embossed before coloring with Copic markers. The ruby red card front is stamped with the Rubbernecker chicken wire bg stamp and smudged with vintage photo distress ink. I added only one button because of space issues. The "thread" is actually a bit of regular twine which was taken apart to get a smaller bit. The card is Kraft.

I hope you like it. Here's to you Mutnik!
