What a Monday!

Yikes, it's been a long, tough day. My dh had an out patient procedure on Friday and was soooooo uncomfortable (in great pain) all weekend long. He called his Dr. this morning and they said to go to the ER for an x-ray, so we did. Of course we both thought it would take maybe two hours and we would be home and he would feel better. NOPE! They informed us he had a perforated bowel and would need immediate emergency surgery. Oh my word, we never expected that! So, here it is - midnight and I am finally home and he is resting in the ICU. He wasn't breathing really well, so they wanted to keep a close eye on him all night. I think now he is there I can rest easier myself. Well, I'm going to try and get some rest. I may not post anything for a few days. We appreciate any and all prayers in his behalf. His name is Allen.
